Our Manufacturing Style

Our Manufacturing Style

Our manufacturing style is to meet all of the needs of our customers.

We manufacture a diverse array of components used in two-wheel and four-wheel vehicles, ships, and more. The dies used to manufacture such component parts are themselves rich in diversity, and the ideal style of “monozukuri” (“making things”, i.e. manufacturing) envisioned differs for each customer. We consider it our mission to respond with great detail to each and every one of these customer ideals and to bring the ideas of our customers to life. There are all sorts of ways to accomplish this mission, and in today’s world as customer needs change more and more along with the times, the environment, and other factors, we are always pressed with the choice of sifting through things that will change and things that will not.

Our field of activity has also spread bigger and further in recent years, such as our trade activities with regions all over Asia and our business development in Indonesia. For these reasons, we give our utmost to personnel training (technology transfer) that goes beyond borders and ethnic boundaries through manufacturing. In a different way, this is also an activity that strives to meet all of the needs of our customers.

ISK manufacturing will continue to evolve in this manner in an aim to meet all of our customers’ needs moving forward.

Manufacturing Process

SR
At ISK, our entire staff strives single-mindedly toward making the ideal manufacturing envisioned by our customers a reality. We pool our best techniques and most-refined knowledge together to propose solutions, and what’s more, we seek out a process to deliver a kind of manufacturing that exceeds the demands of our customers by coming together and thinking the process through with them.

design
We will make the ideal manufacturing styles of our customers into a concrete reality. On top of our knowledge and experience in designing dies, we will proceed with careful validity checks by exchanging results of analysis from simulations, scan measurements, and more.

processing
We select the optimal approach to machining based on sketches and data from designs. We also draw upon our supply chain both at home and abroad to strike a balance between cost and speed. Obviously though, it goes without saying that quality is our top priority.

finishing
Knowledge and know-how held by people becomes technology FOR people. Die production requires this “human process” as its final step. Finishing — the final job in fusing together the digital and the analog.

Quality control
Our dies which are made-to-order one-by-one are always required to have a defect rate of 0%. To that end, we conduct quality control using a variety of testing equipment. We also join forces with workers in the field, striving to make improvements in order to maintain a higher level of quality.
